SBI PO Prelims Syllabus 2018 (SBI PO Syllabus 2018) : Recently the state bank of India announced new pattern and syllabus for SBI PO 2018 prelims and mains exam.The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. For each wrong answers, there will be a negative marking of 1/4 marks in both prelim and main examination.
1. Phase I: SBI PO Prelim Exam is an online test and objective in nature, conducted for 100 Marks.
2. Phase II: SBI PO Mains Exam consist of Objective test for 200 marks and Descriptive test for 50 marks.
3. Phase III: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks).

SBI PO preliminary exam will consists of 100 objective based questions for 100 marks and of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 sections. They are English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. Every section (except English Language) will be available in English as well as Hindi. Some of the questions might be easier to attempt in Hindi than in English.
Each wrong answer takes 0.25 marks assigned to that question as penalty from your total score.How ever, there will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.Each section has an individual cut-off. Apart this, there is also an overall cut off decided by the SBI that you need to cross to move to the next round till the final selection.
Note: Candidates have to qualify in each section by securing passing marks (SBI PO 2017 cut off marks) to be decided by the Bank.

Final SBI PO Selection Procedure
The marks obtained in the SBI PO Preliminary Examination (Tier-I) will not be added and considered while preparing the final selection merit list. SBI PO Main Exam (Phase-II) and GD & Interview (Phase-III) marks obtained by the candidate will be added for preparation of the final merit list at www.sbi.co.in.
